Why Hate Bill Pats?

Bill Pats is a natural storyteller who shares stories taken from his real life so you feel better about yours. His dark, honest, and personal approach to comedy has made him a fan favourite in the Winnipeg comedy scene. Now a veteran of the Fringe circuit, Bill Pats turned his life story (I Hate Bill Pats) into successful runs at the Winnipeg Fringe Festival, the Saskatoon Fringe Festival, and the London Fringe Festival, as well as a featured show at the 2014 Winnipeg Comedy Festival.

Now, Bill — who has acted in theatre, film, and television — is bringing his first fiction piece to the 2014 Winnipeg Fringe Festival. Following Daryl Kane, a death row inmate in 2030 who is one hour away from being Canada’s first criminal execution since 1962, Executing Justice gives Bill a chance to step out of the comfort of his autobiographical tales. Handling writing, directing, and performing duties, this new one-man play is sure to captivate audiences.

Check out Executing Justice at the 2014 Winnipeg Fringe Festival, in Venue #3 (The Playhouse Studio). Last year, several of Bill’s shows sold out, so get your tickets now!
